205 - Spiritual Growth - Paul Ferrini

Spiritual Growth

Your spiritual growth does not happen when you are peaceful and content. It happens when you get angry, sad, greedy, jealous, critical, impatient.
It happens when you lose your "spiritual mask" and realize that you are not superman or -woman,
but just an ordinary human being learning how to love.

204 - Felling Gratitude

“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”

203 - Five Crucial Elements on Wealth Distribution

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

5. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

202 - Your life is your spiritual path -Paul Ferrini-

Your Spiritual Path

Your life is your spiritual path.
Don’t be quick to abandon it for promises of bigger and better experiences.
You are getting exactly the experiences you need to grow.
If your growth seems too slow or uneventful for you, it is because you have not fully embraced the situations and relationships at hand.

201 - Beautiful way to live and keep young - 10 top reasons why we must smile

1. Smiling Makes Us Attractive
We are drawn to people who smile. There is an attraction factor. We want to know a smiling person and figure out what is so good. Frowns, scowls and grimaces all push people away -- but a smile draws them in.

2. Smiling Changes Our Mood
Next time you are feeling down, try putting on a smile. There's a good chance you mood will change for the better. Smiling can trick the body into helping you change your mood.

3. Smiling Is Contagious
When someone is smiling they lighten up the room, change the moods of others, and make things happier. A smiling person brings happiness with them. Smile a lot and you will draw people to you.

4. Smiling Relieves Stress
Stress can really show up on our faces. Smiling helps to prevent us from looking tired, worn down, and overwhelmed. When you are stressed, take time to put on a smile. The stress should be reduced and you'll be better able to take action.

5. Smiling Boosts Your Immune System
Smiling helps the immune system to work better. When you smile, immune function improves possibly because you are more relaxed. Prevent the flu and colds by smiling.

6. Smiling Lowers Your Blood Pressure
When you smile, there is a measurable reduction in your blood pressure. Give it a try if you have a blood pressure monitor at home. Sit for a few minutes, take a reading. Then smile for a minute and take another reading while still smiling. Do you notice a difference?

7. Smiling Releases Endorphins, Natural Pain Killers and Serotonin
Studies have shown that smiling releases endorphins, natural pain killers, and serotonin. Together these three make us feel good. Smiling is a natural drug.

8. Smiling Lifts the Face and Makes You Look Younger
The muscles we use to smile lift the face, making a person appear younger. Don't go for a face lift, just try smiling your way through the day -- you'll look younger and feel better.

9. Smiling Makes You Seem Successful
Smiling people appear more confident, are more likely to be promoted, and more likely to be approached. Put on a smile at meetings and appointments and people will react to you differently.

10. Smiling Helps You Stay Positive
Try this test: Smile. Now try to think of something negative without losing the smile. It's hard. When we smile our body is sending the rest of us a message that "Life is Good!" Stay away from depression, stress and worry by smiling.

200 - Sharing of thoughts: Awakening from our afflicted mind

The changes in our feelings and emotions are triggered by our afflictions (mind with great suffering and pain), which resemble endless knots that tie us up, making us feel imprisoned. The suffering and pain we experience in our daily life do not originate from others or outside, but from our own mind. Thoughts and belief create our own realities!

When we interact with others, there may be repeated occasions of severe misunderstanding which can cause painful friction or conflicts. When this happens, we must remember to see it as a ready opportunity for self-realization, a chance to be aware that we have forgotten LOVE & COMPASSION within us.

We always allow ego to be our master to control/rule our daily life, bringing us tremendous miseries and pains! Indeed, we are insane to become slave of our ego!

There is always something very useful we can learn from people whom we encounter. Whenever we encounter people, we should remind ourselves that they are our guides/mentors showing us our strengths and weaknesses. This will help us instill a strong sense of respect towards others.

And, no matter how people misunderstand us or how severely people judge/condemn us, so long as we have a grateful attitude and forgiving mind, we will be able to face our perceived obstacles calmly and not be affected by them. Adopting this approach as we deal with events or people in our daily life, we will certainly feel much more at peace and at ease, and not be as easily disturbed.

Ultimately, afflictions and inner knots will gradually disappear from our mind. When we can see and believe that it is ONLY the mountains in our mind, then that is the state of awakening!
