George Lau is a former Vice President and Head of Investigation Audit of Maybank Group.
He has been practicing as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
He is currently the Vice President of the Malaysia Chapter of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE-USA).
He holds a Bachelor of Economics Honors Degree from University of Malaya.
Being a senior banker with more than 30 years of banking and financial experience in various management positions, he has extensive knowledge and experience in managing banking business and operations.
George is also a resource speaker for training programs for FSTEP, IBBM, IIA, ACFE, HELP
University College, Securities Commission, Malaysia, ACCA and AgroBank.
His programs include Banking Operations, Fraud Risk Awareness, Managing Fraud & Detection/Prevention and Investigative Interview Techniques.
